Steve Kapple serves as the Senior Category Manager of Dispensed Beverages at Casey’s General Stores, headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa. With three decades of experience in grocery and convenience retail, Steve has held leadership roles across Operations, IT, Marketing, and Merchandising. Over the past 13 years, he has focused on the convenience channel, dedicating the last five years to guiding dispensed beverage initiatives at Casey’s. Previously, Steve was Director of Marketing & Merchandising for Bucky’s Convenience Stores in Omaha, NE, where he oversaw all inside sales and led the Category, Marketing, and Merchandising teams.

At Casey’s, Steve leads the Dispensed Beverage team, where he is responsible for category strategy, product innovation, and equipment selection. In this role, he focuses on transforming Hot, Cold, and Frozen Dispensed Beverage platforms at Casey’s. He collaborates with the Prepared Foods, Culinary, and Brand & Strategic Insights teams to accelerate food and beverage sales. Steve’s passion for product and equipment innovation continually enhances the guest experience and steers the growth of Casey’s Dispensed Beverage offerings.

Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He resides in Omaha, NE with his wife, Jessica, and their four children. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he is actively involved in youth sports and coaches travel softball.
