Renee Bacon serves as Senior Vice President of Sales & Operations and Chief Merchandising Officer. She is responsible for all of Murphy USA’s Sales & Operations functions including store operations, asset protection, compliance, field readiness, and the store support call center.  She also leads all Merchandising functions for the Murphy USA and QuickChek brands.  Murphy USA markets fuel products and convenience store merchandise across more than 1,700 locations in 27 states with over $23B in annual revenue.  Beginning her Murphy USA career in 2016 as Vice President of the Midwest Region, she was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales & Operations in 2019 and expanded her role in 2022 to add Chief Merchandising Officer. In 2021, she was recognized as a Top Women in Convenience.  Renee has a proven track record of success and possesses a broad business background in retail, food and convenience stores with a unique functional expertise in law, supported by a Juris Doctorate from University of Tennessee College of Law to complement her MBA from the University of Houston and her BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
