Mary Handorf

Mary Handorf is the Director of Continuous Improvement at Casey’s General Stores.  She has extensive experience in Continuous Improvement and Project Management across diverse industries. She holds both an undergraduate and master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. Mary’s expertise spans healthcare, insurance, and the convenience sector, where she has made significant contributions to removing complexity.

As a certified Black Belt, Mary leads Casey’s General Stores in their Store Simplification journey. Her focus is on streamlining processes to enhance the experience for Team Members and Guests alike. With her passion for efficiency and innovation, Mary continues to drive positive change within the organization.

On a personal note, Mary considers herself an extraverted introvert who thrives on meaningful connections.  She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and four boys. Mary’s bucket list accomplishment is completing a marathon in every state.  This journey has taught her resilience, patience, discipline, and the power of setting and achieving goals.  She firmly believes if she can do it, anyone can.
