Kara Gunderson

Kara is the Director of North America Payments and Global Financial Services at Circle K.  She has over 24 years experience in petroleum retail payments, including retail operations at both Circle K and Giant Industries, acquiring support of petroleum retail clients at WorldPay, and technology, data security, PCI DSS compliance, along with payments, while at CITGO Petroleum Corporation.  Her in-depth knowledge and experience within the petroleum payments space makes Kara an industry leading expert.  Kara is a PCI Certified Professional.  She is the former elected Chair of the Conexxus Data Security Standards Committee and served on the Conexxus Board of Advisors.  Kara currently Co-Chairs the U.S. Payments Forum Petroleum Working Committee, served on the U.S. Payments Forum Steering Committee, and is a founding member of the PCI Security Standards Council's Petrol Task Force.  Kara's extensive experience in PCI DSS and the unfortunate task of invoking and leading several incident responses to perceived security breach incidents is what brings her here to NACS today.  She will share her best practices along with this esteemed panel of other cyber security and response experts.
