Doug New

Doug joined Nouria Energy Corporation in September 2020 as the company’s first Chief Information Officer and is responsible for defining Nouria’s strategic technology direction and day-to-day technical support to stores, car washes, and office personnel.  Before Nouria, Doug served as Chief Technology Officer for Yesway, a $1.2B chain of 400+ convenience stores in the Midwest.  And, before Yesway, Doug spent six years as Chief Information Officer for Tedeschi Food Shops.  Before transitioning to his new career in convenience and retail fuel, he held multiple executive-level technology positions at Putnam Investments, a Boston-based financial management firm, and served in technical positions at Computer Sciences Corporation, Verizon, the United States Senate, and Northern Telecom.  

Doug has been on the Board of Advisors for Conexxus for 13 years, including multiple terms as Chair, and is the current Chair of the Conexxus Innovation Research Committee.  He was also recently inducted into the Conexxus Technology Hall of Fame, for which he is very grateful and humbled.  Doug received his M.S. from George Washington University and his B.A. from DePauw University.
