Ben Lucky

Strategic Director, Retail & Food Service
King Retail Solutions

Ben Lucky is the Strategic Director, Retail and Food Service for King Retail Solutions, where he collaborates with and helps clients tweak or create their current, or future "Next Gen" and/or "Evolve" stores and kitchens. As both an award-winning food service innovator and chef, he is involved in designing front-of-house layouts, decor packages and heart-of-house kitchens, while also guiding both food service menu development and food concepts in general.

Known as a member of several C-store food service councils in the C-store channel, and for being a culinary change agent, menu innovator, and concept developer, he focuses on the strategic first step.  That is to creatively develop inviting spaces which deliver the often overlooked, "Look and Feel" in retail, foodservice and restaurants as well as a practical back-of-house kitchen that simplifies operations and saves labor.

He is known internationally for his work as a VP of Foodservice, an award winning chef, buyer, category manager, restaurant operator, speaker, foodservice concept designer and developer, and a restaurant consultant in the US, Latin America and the Caribbean.   He is a proud father, papa, US army vet and professional chocolatier.  He is also the creator of the regionally famous "Stackadilla"®.
