Andrew Buel

Special Agent, Las Vegas Cyber Task Force
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

Andrew Buel is an FBI Special Agent assigned to the FBI Las Vegas Cyber Task Force. He has investigated criminal computer intrusions and national security matters, to include ransomware, crypto-theft, business email compromises, botnets, dark web forums and other cyber-related investigations. SA Buel is a Team Leader for the FBI Cyber Action Team (CAT), an incident response team deployed globally at the direction of FBI Cyber Division to bring in-depth cyber intrusion expertise and specialized investigative skills to FBI initiatives, investigations, and national emergencies. Special Agent Buel holds several industry certifications, including Cisco, CompTIA, Fortinet, Microsoft, GIAC, and crypto-analysis certifications.
