Room: A407

Add to Calendar 10/04/2023 8:00 AM 10/04/2023 10:15 AM America/New_York NACS Show Education Session - Creating a Safe Store Environment

Keeping your site, staff, and customers safe is a priority. Whether it is robbery deterrence, food safety, or even how to lift heavy items correctly, it all falls under the category of site safety. Retailers must understand their role in the importance of developing a site safety plan and incorporating it as part of all employee training. This seminar will start you on the development process and give tips on training staff on the importance of following the safety plan to their own advantage. Attendees will learn steps to avoid trouble as well as develop an incident procedure if the unforeseen happens.

Small Operator Workshops are limited to the first 50 attendees on-site. These are working sessions where participants should only join if committed to staying for the full class. Slides and recordings of these sessions will not be shared.
