Category Manager Food and Hot Beverage
I have extensive experience in multi-unit management of fuel and light product, retail, food service along with media, HR, and marketing consulting industries. Currently have category management ownership of all food service and hot dispense offerings at Murphy USA.; including strategy, product selection and operational decisions. Secondary, leadership and food training of key personnel at all levels around understanding food program implementation, safety, and accountability. Significant accomplishments include YOY food sales improvement of 48% (vs. 19’) along with 51% margin improvement (vs. 19’) along with 26 consecutive months of positive sales and margin growth. Prior to getting into food service and category management I held Director and Sr. leadership positions where I designed and implemented experiential marketing programs for these companies launching their newest products and services to consumers.
Growing up I moved constantly and have lived or spent considerable time in all but 2 of the United States. I had the benefit for going to 22 different schools from grade school to high school providing me a unique perspective on different states, people, and cultures. I spent several years in China working in product development and upon my return stateside took positions in convenience food service implementing MTO programs.
I graduated from Western Governors University.
I have 2 children and am an avid hunter and outdoorsman in my free time.
