Scott Sharabura is the Vice President of EV Charging for Parkland Corporation.  Parkland is an international fuel distributor and retailer with operations in twenty-five countries. With approximately 4,000 retail and commercial locations across Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean region, Parkland provides over one million customers every day with the essential energy, convenience items and quality foods on which they depend.  

Scott has 25 years of experience across the energy value chain.  In his current role, Scott leads Parkland’s EV charging business, with his team covering all network planning, construction, operation, marketing and partnership activities related to EV charging.  Under Scott’s leadership, Parkland’s ON the RUN charging network is on track to open its 50th DC fast charging station by the end of 2023, creating the largest ultra-fast charging network in British Columbia.  

In his previous role as VP Strategy, Scott led the development of an energy transition strategy for Parkland, focusing on how Parkland can diversify its business with a focus on food and convenience, and help its customers to decarbonize, including renewable diesel, EV charging, hydrogen, solar and carbon offsets.  

Prior to joining Parkland, Scott spent 15 years with the oil & gas practice of two leading management consulting firms (Booz Allen Hamilton and McKinsey), and two years as a refinery process engineer with Imperial Oil’s refinery in Sarnia.  Scott holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chem Eng) from the University of Waterloo in Canada.  He resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
