Sr. Director, Category Management
Ellen is currently Sr. Director, Category Leadership for PepsiCo’s National Small Format customers across the total PepsiCo portfolio. In this role, Ellen leads the Category Leadership team in partnership with PepsiCo Sales teams to accelerate strategic partnerships and drive growth with our largest Small Format retailers.
Prior to her current role, she lead Shopper Strategy & Insights for PepsiCo’s Demand Accelerator. In this role, she was responsible for translating PepsiCo’s industry-leading shopper insights & analytics capabilities into strategic commercial actions to drive incremental growth with customers, as well as keeping a pulse on trends impacting the industry.
In addition to retail experience, Ellen spent four years on the PepsiCo Foodservice team where she lead the creation of the Category Management function, translating PepsiCo’s category management leadership success on the retail business to growth in Foodservice. She also led Portfolio & Equipment Strategy, during which she led portfolio design for the HelloGoodness vending platform.
Prior to joining the PepsiCo Foodservice team, Ellen held several Category Management roles for PepsiCo Beverages. Her retail Category Management experience spans leading teams across the grocery, drug & Target businesses.
Ellen is a two time recipient of the PepsiCo Chairman’s Ring of Honor award. She is a 18 year veteran of the consumer packaged goods industry, starting her career in CPG with roles of increasing responsibility at General Mills and ConAgra.
Ellen is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a major in Marketing & a minor in Anthropology. She is based in Chicago.
