Dan Flatley is the President of SUDS Creative. Dan is an experienced operations and strategy leader with nearly 20 years of experience. Before his position at Suds Creative, Dan acted as the head of strategy for Driven Brands Car Wash US, a company with over 330 express car wash units. He was responsible for managing large-scale, cross-functional efforts, including a year-long POS database migration to drive SKU rationalization, pricing and promotion alignment across operational regions, and the management of newly acquired car wash units through their integration process.
Prior to Driven Brands Car Wash US, Dan was a manager with the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company. There, Dan was part of the operations transformation group, which specialized in sustained, long-term transformations across all functional areas with operations at the core. Dan conducted these transformations across multiple industries, including paper manufacturing and nuclear power generation.
Dan is a Marine Corps veteran of twelve years. Before McKinsey, he served as a fighter pilot in both the F/A-18 “Hornet” and F-35B “Lightning.” In this role, Dan was an instructor pilot, a weapons and tactics instructor, and finally acted as an operational test pilot in the F-35B, responsible for evaluating state-of-the-art electronics, defensive system, and weapons upgrades.
Dan holds a BA in Psychology & Economics from Bucknell University, an MA in American History from Arizona State University, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
