Chase Thomason grew up on a potato farm in rural southeast Idaho. In the summer of 1999, he played in the Little League World Series. At age 19, he left his home in Idaho to serve a 2-year church service mission in south Texas. Upon returning he attended and graduated from Brigham Young University.
After working for several venture-backed tech companies, Chase set out to start his own business and, in 2015, founded Skip. In the years since, he has built it into the largest mobile checkout solution provider in the US as well as an industry-leading cloud-based POS platform that powers a suite of alternative checkout solutions.
