Brian joined OPIS in 2005, working in a variety of sales and marketing roles before joining Fred Rozell in 2011 to help lead the OPIS Retail division. Over the last 12 years, Brian has worked to ensure the accuracy and integrity of OPIS retail pricing, margin, market share, and volume data, helping to develop the OPIS retail database into the most timely, complete, and accurate source available. Brian has led the OPIS Retail team in developing OPIS Demand, the industry’s first benchmark for retail gasoline sales performance, as well as the OPIS RetailSuite, a platform of web-based analytics tools that provide unprecedented insight into retail fuel market trends.
Most of the largest oil companies and fuel retailers in the country rely on OPIS Retail data to optimize their business operations. Additionally, many of the most prominent consumer brands in the world, including Apple, Google, Waze, AAA, SiriusXM, BMW, Audi, TomTom, Hyundai, and many more work with OPIS to bring real-time fuel prices and station information directly to drivers. No other source is more widely referenced for retail fuel prices than OPIS.
Brian graduated from Washington College with a degree in Business Management. He resides in Frederick, MD and enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling the world, and is an avid reader.
