I want to create a food safety community by learning from other food safety experts in the industry.

2020 was a crazy year, but foodservice still accounted for 22.6% of in-store convenience store sales. Safe food handling continues to take center stage in convenience retail operations to protect public health and your brand. In this session, industry food safety experts will share and discuss how they’ve implemented food safety programs. Then, session participants will participate in round table groups to discover collaborative solutions that are relevant to today’s food safety challenges, including supply chain issues, staffing and training and innovations that can help retailers save time and costs.

Objectives:

  • Evaluate current food safety practices in your organization
  • Identify steps your organization can take to overcome food safety challenges
  • Focus on safe food handling practices from the top down
