Biographical Information: Imad Sarkis has more than twenty-two years’ experience as owner and Vice-President of Tri-Con, Inc. Imad is descended from a Greek-Lebanese family of engineers who did business across the European and African continents. The business focus was primarily in design and construction of petrochemical infrastructure including pipelines. Other business mainstays included design and construction of roads, highways, bridges and water purification plants.
Education: Imad was educated in boarding schools in France and Switzerland. Like his father and brother, Imad had a keenly interest in engineering. When he moved to Beaumont, Texas in 1995, Imad enrolled at Lamar University where he received his graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Imad is also fluent in three languages.
Professional: In his role as vice-president, Imad directs Retail, Lubricant, Transportation and Wholesale fueling operations. As a Rotarian, Imad generously donates his time to a number of worthy causes. Imad and his brother are also major supporters of local charities such as Girl’s Haven and Julie Rogers Gift of Life, Children’s Miracle Network and March of Dimes. For more than five years, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Food & Fuel Association.
Hobbies & Interests: Imad is a devoted outdoorsman. He especially enjoys hunting a variety of game with guns or bow. He is also an avid fisherman and scuba diver. Imad enjoys the culinary arts and loves cooking for family and entertaining friends.
