Company: In 2015, Rahim started his own convenience store franchise under the name of “Encore,” which currently has 13 stores under its banner. Its major oil banner includes Chevron, Shell and Citgo brands, and Rahim is currently working on a private fuel brand. Rahim also runs multiple other business, including: ATM processing, a car dealership, a commercial LED light manufacturing and sales group, digital surveillance systems and a flight school in Daytona Beach. Before opening his first store, Rahim worked for Elixir International, a software development firm.
Industry Activities/Interests: Rahim has been involved with: City Convener for Platinum Federal Credit Union; past board member of various associations, including the Petroleum and Convenience Marketers of Alabama (P&CMA); a council member of the NACS Coca-Cola Retailing Research Council; and board member to the Alabama Underground Trust Fund. He has also played a vital role in building the relationship between the National Alliance of Trade Associations (NATA) and NACS. Rahim holds the rank of 1st Lieutenant in the Civil Air Patrol.
Personal: Rahim has a B.S. in Information Technology, as well as a degree in hotel management and food technology. He is currently working toward a B.S. degree in Aviation Business Administration. His favorite activities include golf, sleep (when he has the time) and flying.
