Andrea Archer

Director and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer

Career:  Andrea joined Philip Morris USA in 2006 as a senior HR professional and has held various positions within Altria Client Services and Philip Morris USA. Most recently Andrea assumed responsibility for strategic diversity & inclusion initiatives for Altria.  Prior to that, she served as a senior manager in Corporate Contributions & Community Relations,  where she lead the Success360° initiative, which supports Altria’s tobacco companies’ investment in leading national and local non-profit organizations that serve kids and their families.

Prior to joining Altria, Andrea worked in various HR roles at Infineon Technologies (formerly known as WhiteOak Semiconductor, a joint venture between Motorola and Siemens), and ABB Power Generation.

Personal:  Raised in Detroit, Michigan, Andrea earned a BS degree in business administration from Wayne State University and an MBA from Clark Atlanta University.  She currently serves on the Advisory Board for Higher Achievement, and is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond, and a 2014 graduate of Lead Virginia, where she currently serves on the board.  

Andrea and her husband David live in Richmond, VA.
